Electrical Substations

Client	Project	Description of Work
BC Hydro & Power Authority Elk Falls, BC	John Hart Substation Campbell River, BC Williston Substation Prince George, BC Newell Substation Burnaby, BC Cathedral Square Substation Vancouver, BC Esquimalt Substation & DND Distribution Upgrade	New 200 MVA 138KV substation to replace existing at John Hart Dam. Addition to existing 500 KV yard including reactors, towers and bus work. Addition to 230 KV yard, complete with buss work, 100 MVA transformer and new compact 69KV substation. Addition to existing underground 12 KV substation including metal clad switch gear and 3600MCM PILC cabling. Installation of 12 KV feeder section at substation. Construction of new distribution building, and installation of 15 KV feeders throughout DND property.
ASEA Brown Boverie Qualicum, BC	Dunsmuir Static Var Compensation	Addition of Static Var compensation equipment, building & yard to substation
Campbell River, BC	Island Cogeneration Substation	New 300MVA transformer & 138 KVA substation for co-generation plant.

Completion of the following substations from civil work to energization:

Transformers to 300 MVA.
Installation of circuit breakers, capacitors, disconnects, surge arresters, current transformers, potential transformers, and buss systems to 500 KV.
